As the Systems Engineering Manager for the Caribbean at Fortinet Latin America, Emmanuel is responsible for managing a team of Cyber Security Systems Engineers throughout the Caribbean fostering and prioritizing regional sales activities that are in alignment with overall business objectives through leadership and engineering-sales skills. A passionate security practitioner with over 15 years of security experience, Emmanuel enjoys all façades of security, which codify his experiences in the US Army to lead, succeed and deliver results. His affinity for the Caribbean, led Emmnauel to join the Fortinet Caribbean pre-sales team in 2016 as Regional SE English Caribbean under LATAM providing pre-sales engineering activities to commercial accounts and assisting Fortinet partners grow and promote the Fortinet security brand among their customer base in the Caribbean. Eight years before joining Latin America and Caribbean team, Emmanuel served as Lead Professional Services Engineer for Fortinet delivering security solutions to global customers across all market segments. In 2015, Emmanuel received the esteemed, “FortiChamp”, award for successfully delivering key projects for the organization.

Prior to joining Fortinet in 2008, Emmanuel served as consultant assisting state and local governments develop their security, business continuity and incident response plan to address gaps in their response to natural calamities, man-made and cyber threats. He also worked on Wall Street delivering security solutions to financial institutions, brokage houses and early mobile trading platform.

Emmanuel is a graduate of Capitol Technology University where he received a Msc. in Information Assurance and prior to, he graduated from Pratt Institute in Brooklyn with a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical & Aeronautical Engineering and served in the US Army as a Nuclear, Biological, and chemical Warfare Specialist.

In spare times, Emmanuel enjoys the outdoors and performs volunteer work for rural communities.
